For defensive coordinators
Know their tendencies before the second quarter
Most sideline apps are built for the offense. PlayCaller Pro gives the defensive coordinator their own plan, their own scouting, and their own live view — so you're calling fronts and pressures off what the other team actually does, not what you remember from film.
Your defensive game plan, your side of the ball
The DC owns the defensive plan and the scouting on the opponent's offense; the OC owns theirs. Each side can view the other read-only, and the head coach can edit everything. Print all of it, offense-only, or defense-only.
Opponent tendency capture
Scouting reports hold the opponent's formations and tendencies, and those tendencies show up on the sideline during the game. On the Program plan you can log the opponent's formation and ball direction on every defensive snap, so by halftime you can see what they run from each look.
Live series on the sideline
While your defense is on the field, run your calls as a series and log each snap's result fast. When the drive ends you get the drive summary, and the whole staff sees the same game state live on their own devices.
Per-player defensive stats
Credit tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, interceptions and more to individual players as you log. The lines roll into game reports and season totals — useful for awards, film sessions and recruiting stat sheets.
Coaches ask
Does the DC get a separate game plan from the OC?+
Yes. The defensive coordinator owns the defensive plan and opponent-offense scouting; the offensive side is view-only for the DC, and the head coach can edit both.
Can I log the opponent's formation on every snap?+
Yes, on the Program plan — high-detail game tracking logs the opponent's formation and ball direction per defensive snap.
Does it track individual defensive stats?+
Yes, on the Program plan: tackles, TFLs, sacks, INTs and more per player, rolled into game and season reports.
